Hill House Farm

Hill House Farm

My Kitchen is based on mine and my husband, Neville’s, working farm in the idyllic, and often overlooked, Brecks countryside. Dating back to the 15th Century, the Georgian fronted farmhouse has enviable views over the courtyard garden, resident ponies and the farm beyond.

As the farming calendar progresses with the seasons, there is no better place to be reminded of the importance of seasonality of ingredients and to be inspired by the ever changing landscape.

Norfolk provides any cook or chef with an inspiring range of fresh local produce. The 90 miles of coastline provides an abundance of fresh seafood throughout the year while the acres of cereal supply local breweries and bakers. Norfolk’s unique range of agricultural land gives opportunity for farmers to produce traditional arable crops, vegetables and herbs. We also have an army of dedicated, professional small producers and luckily still have an incredible selection of independent retailers selling the best of local fayre.

In this quintessentially English county, you can’t help but be inspired by the landscape and the ingredients.
